I was just so frustrated by the fact that in his classes Norman was so passionate when he would teach John Stuart Mill's "On Liberty", particularly the argument in support of the devil's advocate, and based on what DePaul has said he has been fired for disrespecting exactly that, the opinions of those that do not agree with him. Nothing could be more further from the truth, and that is a shame, because Finkelstein cared more about the truth than anyone I have ever met.Brian T. He backed warrantless privacy incursions, "disappearing" troublesome people, arrest on suspicion, racial profiling, indefinite detention without charge and torture. He showed his soft underbelly on the torture issue. A judge would have to issue a torture permit to make it all legal. Maybe he should remember that the Jews were all robbed, arrested, transported and murdered completely within the judicial system.<BR/>He's rapidly becoming the NeoCons house Jew thats trotted out to show how tolerant the far right really is.
